 I am the owner of Art of Interior Re-Design™, a decorating
service that specializes in interior redesign and decorating services. I
am also co-founder and member of Professional Redesigners of Canada and
a member of Organizers in Canada.
Organization is a very important
aspect of the design industry and this service is available also, - as a
home not only must look “well”, but work well. I also specialize in
‘outer spaces,’ providing these services for your yard and garden needs.
Arlene's Passion
The satisfaction of seeing a customer’s reaction to his or her home
after a one-day makeover is the most rewarding experience! After
completing the project, I always just want to sit down and stay
awhile…the atmosphere feels so warm and inviting. If this is the way I
feel, what must the homeowner be feeling?
How She Got Here
I have decided to pursue my dream and passion for interior
decorating, and have specialized in redesign. (The idea of decorating a
home with existing possessions was the ultimate answer for a decorator
who loved doing that very thing!)
Arlene's Design Philosophy
I believe that living space must be equally functional and
beautiful. It’s the yin and yang of room design…balance, and wellness:
you need to be able to feel well in a room, and work well
in a room. This has much to do with taste, based on your life experience
and your unique personality. I try to explore that about you and help
build rooms that reflect you and your needs.
How
Arlene Works

I don’t only suggest ideas on how to redesign your room, but I
will do it for you immediately and professionally.
- If you need specific items before the redesign, I will pre-shop
for you.
- My assistants will move furniture so you don’t have to.
- During your redesign, I will explore your home for furniture and
accessories to take part in the makeover.
- Finally, I will give you advice on items you could purchase that
would be complimentary to your new room, and I will even help you
shop!
