I provide decorating guidance about how to hang artwork, choose paint colors, coordinate fabric, arrange flowers and plants, and select furniture. Interior Re-Design
Interior redesign is a cost effective alternative to traditional interior design—we use your existing furniture, art and accessories to redesign your home in a totally new way. Purchasing new furniture and drapery is not always necessary to achieve a dramatic redesigned makeover. As a professional redesigner, I know how to transform your living space. You probably already have what you need for a beautiful home; you simply need a redesign makeover to put it all together…and you deserve it!

In traditional interior design process, you, the homeowner, hire a designer to decorate your home using their suggestions for new furnishings, draperies or accessories. Normally you aren’t allowed the benefit of using items you already own.

Interior redesign, on the other hand, is a design technique that artfully arranges the interior of your home to showcase the furnishing, art and accessories you already have. By rearranging the room using a precise alignment of the interior pieces with the architectural features and shapes of your home, and by “shopping” your home for hidden treasures, I will give your room a refreshing new look!

I’d like to help you develop a more efficient and organized living system by re-organizing and de-cluttering. This will help your become more effective and less chaotic. Design Consultation
We will begin with a visit to your home to distinguish your style and assist you in developing a decorating plan. We can help you with color selection for any item or surface in your home from accessories to selecting the right size and style of furniture. We can help you choose fabric for upholstery, window treatments, and bedding and finishes for woodwork, furniture and flooring. If you are thinking of remodeling or building a new home, we can help! If you are not able to shop, we will assist you with what is needed and purchase for you with additional benefits of designer's discount. Finally, we can assist in purchasing artwork and pictures…we’ll even hang and position them to create beautiful groupings for your home or office.

Real Estate Redesign
Want that SOLD sign on your lawn? Redesigning your home for sale dramatically reduces the time your home stays on the market. Our real estate redesign service is available for homeowners and real estate professionals alike. The goal of real estate redesign is to create a setting that buyers envision themselves living in by maximizing the use of space and displaying architectural highlights. The redesign process begins with an assessment of any needed repairs your home may require and includes a comprehensive report. Redesign is a great way to make your home memorable and giving it advantages over your competition!

Seminars & Workshops
If you have a passion for decorating and want to learn solutions to help solve your décor dilemmas… … Arlene will teach you how to decorate your house like a designer’s home—but with your style! By decorating with what you already own, you’ll learn how to reorganize and rearrange your furniture, artwork and accessories and achieve that look of a designer’s home.

Workshops are scheduled at community centers and adult education centers during the year. Handouts and decorating tips are always given to participants. Check out our Calendar for the next event nearest you. If you have a date in mind that doesn’t appear on the calendar, we can work with you to do a workshop for you and a minimum of four of your friends.

Holiday/Special Occasion Decorating Even if you’re not re-decorating, you might want to do something special for a holiday, special family gathering, or other occasion. I also help you problem-solve issues surrounding event management – like planning for temporary seating, rearranging furniture to accommodate your event.
